Obituary

Troy “Bud” Pace, Jr. passed away on September 19, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 7, 1938 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Troy & Mary “Lucille” (Ridenour) Pace, Sr. He married Lavena “Beany” Bailey on May 7, 1955 in Otterville. He worked at Laclede Steel Mill and was a member of Dow Baptist Church. He is survived by his children: Lavena “Beanie” Smith of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Robin Retting of Las Vegas, Sam Pace of Mount Sterling, Roger Pace of Grafton, Jeff (Connie) Pace of Grafton, and Kenneth Pace of Grafton; his 17 grandchildren; his 36 great-grandchildren; his 6 great-great grandchildren; and his siblings: Sharon Hagerman and Steven (Becky) Pace; and his sister-in-law: Charlene Pace. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson: Ben Zimmerman, siblings: Marion (Matthew) Westfall and Albert Pace, Sr., brother-in-law: Robert Hagerman, Sr. Visitation will be on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Alexander Funeral Home. Funeral will be on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 am at Alexander Funeral Home. Pastor David Brown will be officiating the service and burial will be at Indian Creek Cemetery in Hamburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
