Kathy Schafer Obituary

Kathy R. Schafer, 62, passed away on December 18, 2022 in St. Louis. She was born on November 22, 1960 in Jerseyville to Raymond S. & Peggy J. (Hildred) Brown. She worked as a cook at several places and was also an administrator at Willow Rose. She was married to Anthony “Tony” Schafer until his death on October 5, 2021 and together they shared 25 years of marriage. Kathy is survived by her daughter: Stepfanie Schafer of St. Charles, Mo.; and her siblings: Donald Brown of Jerseyville, Randy Crisswell of Florida, and Terri Flowers of Wood River. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Ronald “Butch” C. Crisswell, Rhonda Nguyen, and Deborah Woolsey. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 (noon) at Alexander Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on December 23, 2022 at 12:00 (noon) at Alexander Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the funeral home in care of the funeral home.
